With an experience in the Pharmaceutical Projects sector since 2007, he collaborated with the most prestigious engineering companies in the international pharmaceutical sector such as Azbil Telstar, COMSA Clean Room Technologies, Grupo M + W, in positions such as International Area Director, Commercial Director, Construction Director, Pharmaceutical Consultant and Project Manager.
With over 30 years in the management and direction of industrial projects and construction, internationally, he has developed projects in countries such as Portugal, Spain, Jamaica, India, China, Brazil, Uruguay, among others.
With the ability to overcome obstacles and challenges, through his vast professional career, he has the perfect knowledge and understanding that the deadlines defined in the schedule are, without a doubt, one of the most important points in a project, as well as the financial limitations of a previously approved budget .
With extensive experience and training in the field of cleanroom architecture and pharmaceutical engineering projects, in recent years he has been involved in very complex and large-scale construction installations internationally, thus has the ability to easily manage any project in the pharmaceutical and concept scope GMP, as well as layouts of facilities both for the manufacture of medicines, and lately in cannabis extraction laboratories taking into account the different types of extraction processes, equipment and solvents on the market.
With his own consulting and engineering company in Brazil (where he lived for 8 years) he early recognized the emerging opportunity in the medical cannabis market and in 2018 restructured the company to focus and fully dedicate to building a value-added proposition for the cannabis industry in Latin America and in general.
In recent years, he was Project Director the architecture and engineering projects as well as the construction management of several cannabis facilities both in Brazil and lately in Uruguay, where he was the project and construction director until the end of 2020 of the largest Cannabis Extraction Laboratory (ethanol) of South America with 1500 m2 of area, having coordinated and managed the entire process of engineering, construction, materials and equipment logistics, as well as monitoring the qualification and validation process with more than 20 different engineering disciplines.see less
