I open doors! I set appointments & generate leads through targeted cold-calling & email. I am currently focused on getting results for the Employee Benefits Division of a large insurance brokerage, employee benefits and risk management consulting firm headquartered on the Delaware River in beautiful Camden, NJ, right across the Ben Franklin Bridge from Philadelphia. Prior to transitioning to a Business Development career in 1998, I spent the better part of 2 decades as a chef & caterer. I honed my culinary skills working in hotels, fine dining establishments & hotels, theme restaurants, banquet halls, country clubs and continuous-care facilities. In the early to mid 1990's I did backstage entertainment catering in the Greater New York City Area, including involvement in the 1992 Grammy Awards at Radio City Music Hall in NYC and the annual Jones Beach Summer Concert Series.
My career has not as yet included a position in the legal cannabis industry. I was involved in cannabis sales & distribution in 1980's & 90's. I labored in an outdoor grow-operation located deep in the NJ Pine Barrens for a few years in the mid-80's. I have been an outspoken proponent of The Herb since first encountering it in the late 1970's and consider myself a "true believer" in the inherent goodness of the cannabis plant, that it has been put on the Earth for the our benefit and judicious use.
I would like to expand my network of "cannabis-leaning" acquaintances and contacts. I also hope to find new ways to expand my knowledge of this miraculous plant, and to learn how my experience, skills, and passion for cannabis can fit into this burgeoning industry.see less
