What these 'hemp can change the world' books have failed to elaborate on, is a behind-the-scenes look at the business as well as the industry’s dark side. Just like its psychoactive cousin, Delta-9-THC, the cannabinoid CBD is derived from one plant, cannabis sativa. With the common plant retaining its stigma and taboo, the same demons haunt it.
