About Me
I have a real passion for data, big data, business intelligence, analytics, and blockchain. I excel at, and enjoy solving problems, and mining the vast volumes of data for insights is one of those challenges. Since early 2017 I have been involved in blockchain technology, writing in-depth articles for various publications as well as designing and implementing blockchain-based systems. Unlike most people who describe themselves as "blockchain enthusiasts" who don't actually know what you can do with blockchain, I know what you can do and if blockchain doesn't make sense, I'm going to tell you that too.
I like to be part of the solution, part of the success, and a contributor to the enjoyment of being part of a productive team. I've worked in medical billing, legal, gaming, eCommerce, entertainment, and more.
Specialties: Finding solutions to problems that don't have obvious solutions. Managing teams to create and maintain products and systems. Ability to rapidly learn and understand environments and find solutions or methods to fine-tune them. Saving MONEY.
Fun Trivia: I'm also a musician and songwriter for fun, but in 2016 I was nominated for a Grammy in the "Best Rock Performance" category and made it to the final round, beating out about 6,000 other songs. I didn't win, but it was a great honor to make it that far.
Outside interests: I've had a long interest in truly sustainable and environmentally friendly power generation, storage and alternative forms of transportation. Solutions that are realistic, attainable in the short term, and take into account the entire ecosystem involved in said solutions, from mining elements to disposal at the end and where does the power come from to charge it all. I have some interesting experiments that are working quite well at the moment and seem to satisfy those goals.see less
